The Flying Dutchman: MSN Video Distribution – Case Study
We began our partnership with The Flying Dutchman at the beginning of 2025. He creates high-quality travel videos on YouTube and has built an impressive track record:
200k subscribers, 60M views, and 300+ videos published.
While he was happy with his results, he wanted to reach a wider audience and build a second revenue stream beyond YouTube, so his income would be more stable long term.
That’s when we connected. We started working together on redistribution, specifically MSN, and that’s when things really changed.

Timeline
Partnership Start
In January 2025, we launched our redistribution partnership. We quickly agreed that expanding to Microsoft’s platforms was the best next step, MSN.com, Microsoft Start, Bing, Edge, and Copilot.
The best part: he didn’t need to create anything new. He already had outstanding content, and we could immediately repurpose and distribute it across these channels.
First quarter in
In the first few months, we moved fast.
MakersTV published his videos daily on MSN and optimized performance every day. Meanwhile, The Flying Dutchman stayed focused on what he does best: creating great travel content for YouTube, now also reaching audiences on MSN.
The results came quickly:
January 25: a slow start, but still $100 in additional revenue. Encouraging, but we knew this was just the beginning.
February 25: the content took off. He earned $4.4K from MSN alone, already more than his YouTube revenue, using content he had already created.
March 25: growth accelerated further, with his share reaching $8K.
One Year Later
In 2025, The Flying Dutchman earned $150K from MSN alone, with November and December each exceeding $20K (his share).
This additional revenue stream gave him the financial breathing room to focus on creating more content, without added workload or financial stress. He already had a strong library of videos, so we could manage and grow his MSN presence using existing content.
By combining our redistribution expertise with his content creation, the partnership has been a major success and we’re still scaling it month after month.
